The holding company of the Liebherr Group is Liebherr-International AG. Liebherr-International AG is located within Bulle, Switzerland and is operating by the Liebherr family members. Now, the family business is being managed in the 2nd generation by Dr. H.C. Willi Liebherr and his sister Dr. H.C. Isolde Liebherr. Ever since 2012, some of the active individual divisions have been represented by third generation members of the family such as: Patricia Ruf, Stefanie Wohlfarth, Jan Liebherr and Sophie Albrecht. These family members have been working together to help set up the family business' course in the future. They are staying on top of large-scale industrial projects and residential buildings all around the globe.



Hans Liebherr started to build his company in the year 1949, in a tiny town called Kirchdorf within southern Germany. Kirchdorf, presently supports one of Liebherr's 20 manufacturing locations. They employ over 1400 individuals in that specific workforce and could average a yearly output of roughly 2800 wheeled excavators. The company has enjoyed immense growth and diversity since it initially opened its doors. The Liebherr Group continues to remain very committed to implementing and making innovative designs.
