Peiner's design philosophy has always revolved around the idea of making grabs which handle the largest volume rather than grab dead weight. Usually, the grab and bucket lifting ratio's meaning that 60 percent of material is dead weight vs. 40 percent grab dead weight. This means transporting more quantities of supplies quicker. The wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related parts is less. By combining high quality materials and innovative design with manufacturing, the required weight ratio is obtained.
